The Rich History of Nepenthes x Dyeriana

Nepenthes x Dyeriana is one of my FAVORITE plants of all time! I saw a picture of Peter D'Amato holding one of these massive pitchers on the back of the original Savage Garden book when I was a teenager and knew I had to have it.

I really enjoyed spending time combing through old Gardeners' Chronicles to find the origins of this Victorian Era cross.
