A gorgeous Leilani Nepenthes with dramatic color changes on a flared peristome!

Nepenthes Fancy Fish is a fantastic Leilani Nepenthes with an unusual pollen parent - a variegated alata! Although there is no variegation in the offspring, this hybrid does not disappoint. Everything about this plant says DRAMA - the bold colors, huge flared peristome, crazy wings, and fantastic color change all make it an incredible hybrid. Add to it an extremely vigorous growth habit and it is definitely one of my favorites! Easy in intermediate conditions, I bet it would make a great houseplant, too!

Wow Fancy Fish loves to vine! And this particular plant is male! It is climbing all around the top of my grow tent, where unfortunately there isn't a lot of light. I am not sure if the pitchers are pale green because of the lack of light or if that is the natural color of this cultivar, but I do love the plate-like peristome!
