An easy and beautiful hybrid that holds colorful pitchers forever!

Loving the living room! The sprawling growth habit is very attractive in a hanging basket. August 2020
From Borneo Exotics: "First introduced in Jan 2017. This hybrid was sold briefly under BE-3373 as random selection of clones from microprop under and was very popular. We have now isolated what is by far the the most attractive clone and are now able to supply this by itself.  The female parent is our unique  giant Nepenthes spectabilis. This is a tremendously vigorous hybrid and is highly spectacular due to the Nepenthes spectabilis patronage. Please don't overlook this wonderful item, which has featured in many of our gold medal winning Chelsea Flower Show exhibits as well as our huge 2008 Singapore Garden Festival exhibit. Easy to grow being vigorous and quite temperature tolerant. This is an ideal beginners plant!"
Love this hybrid! This plant lived in the relatively hostile environment of my classroom and thrived for several years. It's grown in terrariums and is now happy on my south-facing windowsill. No matter where it is, it produces beautiful pitchers and holds on to them for a long time. This combined with the sprawling habit of ventricosa makes it a very beautiful plant, especially in a hanging basket.
Current Growing Conditions: South-Facing Living Room Window
Light: ~260 - 460 PPFD or 16530 - 20110 Lux (depends on the weather outside)
Humidity: ~80% night and 55% day
Temperature: ~68F night and 90F day (depends on weather outside)
Water: Moist but not wet - prefers to stay wetter than normal Nepenthes because of the ampullaria parent
Potting Mix: 50% long fibered sphagnum and 50% perlite

Fertilizer: MaxSea (1/4 tsp/gallon) every other week into pitchers
Additional Notes: Very hardy plant! Pitchers well and holds on to them!
