Nepenthes {[(veitchii x boschiana) x maxima]} x {{(lowii x veitchii)-yellow x boschiana}-purple x [(veitchii x maxima) x veitchii-H/L]}

The very first Nepenthes I grew from seed! This wild complex hybrid comes all the way from a grower in Thailand

Super blurry photos of the parents - definitely should have saved a better photo from the original Ebay listing!

Only 3 seedlings survived!

Largest pitcher looks promising?
This incredibly complex hybrid was actually my very first attempt at growing Nepenthes from seed! We were about 6 months into the COVID Pandemic and I saw these on offered on Ebay by Thailand grower natta-chang. I was looking for something new and challenging to do at home during quarantine and I thought - why not? Even though Nepenthes are notoriously difficult to grow from seed, I decided to give it a go anyways.

These poor seeds took almost a month to arrive and I had very little hope that any would survive. I just let them stay bagged up for months and lo and behold, 5 germinated nearly 3 months later! I was an inexperienced new parent and ended up losing 2 of them to fungal attack. Nearly 3 years later, they are looking great though! Soon I will be potting them into their own pots. Not sure if the tiny third sibling will survive, but I will at least have two siblings to compare from this first experiment! We will see how they turn out!
Current Growing Conditions:
Intermediate/Highland Grow Tent

Light: Mars Hydro TSL 2000 LED Grow Light
