Tucked into its warm humidity bag to acclimate! November 2020
From Borneo Exotics: "Well known and popular epiphytic species with widespread distribution throughout Borneo. There are a number of distinct forms in cultivation. From a single selected clone out of microprop. This unusual form has a striped peristome that never rolls entirely back, giving it a flared appearance."
I received my small clone from Carnivero in November 2020. I couldn't resist the tall thin pitchers and the funny shaped leaves that look like inverted triangles! Hopefully I can have this one climbing around on my windowsill at some point. Even at this small size the pitchers are noticeably taller and slimmer than normal!

Finally settling in!
This one took a while to settle in and get the lighting right. I had it under way too strong exposure and the leaves got very tight and sunburned. Curiously, the traps at the ends of the leaves aborted during this time. I moved it to the very farthest corner of the terrarium away from the lights and it has recovered quickly. The newest pitcher has stripes! Newest leaf starting to show the unique triangular-shaped leaves!
Current Growing Conditions: Warm Intermediate Terrarium
Light: ~160 PPFD or 8930 Lux under 4000K LED shoplights
Humidity: ~90% night and 67% day
Temperature: ~68F night and 85F day
Water: Moist but not wet
Potting Mix: 50% long fibered sphagnum moss 50% perlite/coco chips

Fertilizer: MaxSea (1/4 tsp/gallon) every other week into pitchers and lightly spray leaves
Additional Notes: Excited to watch this one grow!
